Women in the Qur'an: Du'as and Reflections (Taddabur Series)

with Ustaz Mizi

The Qur'an preserves powerful moments where women turned to Allah in sincerity, vulnerability, and faith. In times of fear, uncertainty, hardship, and hope, their hearts found refuge in du'a. Their words and experiences were not lost to history. Allah honoured them by recording their stories in the Qur'an as guidance for believers until the end of time. In this reflective tadabbur session, we will explore several of the du'as and heartfelt moments connected to the women mentioned in the Qur'an. From the mother who prayed for her unborn child, to the woman who sought refuge from oppression, to the cries of a heart overwhelmed by pain, these moments reveal the depth of faith, patience, and reliance upon Allah. Through these verses, participants will discover how the struggles and emotions of women across time echo many of the challenges faced today. This session invites participants to reflect on these powerful stories, understand their deeper meanings, and learn how to turn their own hearts towards Allah with sincerity and trust.
